CLEM BAIYE – CHAIRMAN

 (Full Name: CLEMENT OMEIZA BAIYE) is Chairman of Habitat Trust Limited a company developing housing estates in Ibadan, Lagos and Ikorodu. He is a media entrepreneur and human resource expert with extensive experience in corporate board matters and public affairs. Baiye is a member of the Council of Knowledge Experts of the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG). He has been a member of senior management or the boards of several institutions including; New Nigerian newspaper, NAL Merchant Bank, Cornerstone Insurance, and New Age newspaper.  He was a foundation director and later Chairman of Cornerstone Insurance Plc. He serves on the boards of The Capital Consortium Limited, Security Swaps Limited, and Regency Alliance Insurance Plc. He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Societal Positive Impact Initiative [SPIN] a non-governmental organization involved in mentoring the youth, and of Warwick University Nigeria Alumni Association. He studied at Ahmadu Bello University, where he obtained a Second Class Upper in Political Science and the University of Warwick where he was awarded M.A. in International Political Economy in October 1981.  He is the CEO and Owner of Verity Communications Limited, a communications outfit and Verity Associates, a human capital outsourcing company.
